What does RISE UP look like?
R – Respect – Arriving on time. Doing what you are asked when you are asked. Following classroom rules. Clean up after yourself and show respect for your environment. Interacting positively and appropriately with others.
I – Integrity – Doing your own work. Holding yourself to a higher standard. Behaving appropriately when no one’s watching.
S – Safety – Being aware of yourself and others in relations to personal safety. Carrying yourself with dignity. Showing concern and consideration for the safety of others.
E – Engagement – Paying attention. Having the right materials. Prepared for success. Participating. Doing all assignments and doing your bet. Asking questions. Avoiding distractions, for instance, cell phones, iPods, etc.)
U – Unity – Tolerating differences. Supporting each other. Working well in groups. Helping each other succeed.
P – Pride – Attending school wide events. Volunteering. Offering help. Striving to be your best. Taking pride in your appearance and following the dress code.
